This conceptual schematic design proposes a modular residential complex tailored to a site with strict height zoning constraints. Driven by a commitment to affordable housing, the spatial programming prioritizes highly efficient, compact two-bedroom typologies. Despite their optimized footprints, the units adhere strictly to contemporary living standards; each dual-aspect apartment features twin private terraces and is oriented to maximize passive cooling through cross-ventilation. Additionally, the site’s subtle topographical grade is leveraged to seamlessly integrate a subterranean parking level.
Serving as a foundational visioning study, our conceptual framework established the project's massing, scale, and architectural vernacular, empowering the client with a clear spatial strategy before the project's eventual execution by the Architect of Record.
