Masterplan:
Proposed masterplan follows the municipal program for
rehabilitation of the territory of former agricultural
machines production factory, founded at 1903, and
presently operated as a warehouses and small-medium
productions complex.
The factory complex, located in the center of the
Lyubertsy, Moscow satellite city, during the whole
20-s century period was the town-forming element of the
settlement, that grew up around it.
This fact had a decisive influence on the decision to
turn the central element of the city into a public park,
thereby returning it to the city.
Proposed zoning includes 750,000 m2 of residential areas
and about 250,000 m2 of public and commercial
facilities. All built-up areas allocated around the
purely pedestrian public park hosting the
neighborhood's schools, kindergartens, sports and
leisure facilities.
Commercial and employment facilities are enclosing the
land site along the railway from the north and the main
city axis, leading to the Moscow City center from the
south.
